Well...better late than never

11/11/2010
So, to say the least, I have been a little busy since my last post and haven't had time to sit down and type.  Our little snuggle monkey is now a month and a few days old!!  Crazy...this has been the craziest month of my life!!  Let me tell you, no matter how much you try to prepare and get ready for a baby, it is not possible.  Walker has rocked our world...in a good way, of course, but still...blown our minds :)  He was born October 11th at 4:43pm, weighing in at a whopping 9lb 1oz!!  He was 22.5 inches long....big boy :)  We left the hospital on the 13th and he was 8lb 13oz at that point.  Then, we went to his pediatrician on Friday, the 15th, and he was already back at 9lb 2oz!!  So needless to say, he's not having any problems eating :)  I think at this point he weighs over 12 lbs...chunky little angel.  Here are some pictures of him, but if you're ever on facebook, you have seen that I have plastered most of these all over my profile for all the world to see!

12/22/2010
Hmmm, well, that was a post I typed on November 11th, but never got around to posting!!  I don't know where time goes nowadays!  Being a parent is the best and most HARDEST job on the planet.  Little mister had his two month appointment last Monday, the 13th, and he is in the 95% in weight and 97% in height.  We love our little chunky cuddlebug.  I go back to work on January 10th and I'm a little nervous about the first few days.  I probably won't even attempt make-up on those days b/c I'm sure it'll all be cried off in the first hour I'm there. :(  But the good news is we have a nanny to watch Walker the 3.5 days a week that we needed.  She is a family friend of Jeff's and I know Walker will love spending time with her!! :)  I don't have anything new or exciting to tell b/c I spend all my time with a little 15 pounder that doesn't speak English yet.  Hopefully we will hit some milestones soon so that at least I'll have something interesting to blog about.  Here are a few pictures that I can't remember if I have posted or not!!

*40 wEeKs HaS aRrIvEd*

today is 40 weeks, according to what they told me from the very beginning...apparently my due date might have changed from Sept 30th to Oct 2nd, but I'm still considering it today.  I had to come home early from work because my back was hurting so bad. :(  I couldn't sit in my chair all day.

I had an ultrasound Tuesday and Walker looks to be about 8 lb 3 oz.  It would be great it he could just hang out around that weight until he decides to venture out.  I go back Tuesday for another ultrasound and we'll see how big he is.  As long as everything stays okay, she'll let me go until the 11th of October.  I want him to come this weekend or next week sometime, I hope you're listening Jesus, because I know what I want is at the top of your priorities.  My blood pressure is good, as usual, :), and amniotic fluid is measuring good.  So he's doing great in there, but we are ready for him to come OUT!!!

Here are a couple pictures of me, one from 38 weeks and one from 39 weeks....but I think I have grown a bunch in a week.  I don't know why the pictures keep turning sideways, it's not saved like that on my computer????  Oh well, like I said before, I give up trying to understand this thing......

Here is one more, from this week.  My mom is still making me take pics of myself, so here we go........

Well, I go back to the doc Tuesday morning if I haven't had him before then, so I'll post after that.  Anytime after today would be great for him to come, just because I want him to have an October birthday.  But if he wanted to start making his way at like 9 this evening so that he could come out sometime tomorrow, that would be perfect too.  Come on my little angel, it's time for you to come out and change our lives!! :)

*anyday now*

Approximately 39 weeks and 1 day I have been pregnant. 10 months is a realllllllly long time, even tho it has flown by.  Little Walker man is still happy as can be in there and has given us no clues that he is ready to bust out.  I am going back to my doc on Tuesday for my 40 week checkup and to have an ultrasound done so she can see how big he's getting.  She said as long as he's not too big and my blood pressure is good and there aren't any other problems, she will let me go a week and a few days past my due date.  My due date isn't until next Thursday, so that means he could wait to be born until the weekend of Oct 9th!!  I hope he doesn't hang out that long in there, but we know that God has a schedule and we definitely want to go by His watch.  Although I don't know how Jeff will make it if we have to wait two more weeks to meet our little lovebug!!  Daddy is READY!! haha, so is Momma, but I have a little more patience than Jeffrey....no...make that ALOT more patience....

I still feel fabulous aside from the occasional tired spells I get in the middle of the day.  Really it's scary how good I've felt.  I am still picking weeds and I would be mowing if Jeffrey wasn't such a dictator, he ALWAYS says no.  For a while he was letting me mow the backyard (where the neighbors couldn't see) just so he didn't have to argue with me, but now he just immediately says NO when I ask, and I can tell by the look on his face that he's not budging.  Grrr.  I am still walking every morning, and I really think that has been the key to my success.  I feel great, but I will NOT be sad when I am not pregs anymore, to say the least.

Soooooo that's about it.  I tried to take some photos of myself this morning, but it was a very unsuccessful photo shoot.  So I will post a couple more of the maternity photos that I love :)

Waiting for Walker...

Ok, I am giving up on figuring out this blogspot stuff....my posts don't post completely and comments randomly disappear...whatever...

It is almost time to meet little Walker!!  A week and a half until he is due on this earth and we are so excited we can't see straight.  God created this perfect little human just for Jeff and I and it blows our minds that he is going to be here so soon.  Praise Jesus for this whole experience!!  I have complained a couple times, I admit, but I have had a wonderful pregnancy and am still feeling alright at 38.5 weeks.  I admit that I am ready to not have to share my body anymore, but I am not going to wish him out any earlier than God has planned.  But boy will we be thrilled to see him!! :)

As of my last appointment, my cervix was still posterior, which I don't use technical terms, so basically she just said it's still way back.  Fine with me, hang out as long as you would like little angel!!  If he wants to stay in there past his due date, I won't have to go back to work before the end of the year so that would be cool.

2 weeks ago, Josh, Jeff's cousin, and his wife, Anna, took some maternity pictures for us at their house and what a blessing they are to us!!  The pictures are amazing, Josh did a fantastic job taking them, and Anna did a wonderful job posing us. :)  I will try and post one or two on here, but I'm sure the website will delete them without telling me, so we'll see....thanks again, Josh and Anna, for being such wonderful family and doing such a huge favor to us out of the kindness of your hearts. :)

Anyways, when I have any other new news, I'll be back to update!!  Prayers for the future of our little family would be greatly appreciated!! :)

shortened post

ok the post below is about three times as long as it shows up on here......i dont know where the rest of it disappears to when I click post!!  when i go to edit it, all of it is still there, so i'm not sure why it's not posting correctly...i'm having technical difficulties, be back later

**37 weeks!!**

I cannot believe I am full term tomorrow.  These past 37 weeks have flown by like nobody's business....I feel like it was two weeks ago that I saw positive on the test and yesterday that we sent flowers to our mommies saying 'It's a Boy'!!!  Wow, time flies when you're having fun ballooning into a porpoise and rolling out of bed in the middle of the night to hobble to the restroom 4 times in 7 hours....man, I will be so sad when all that crap is over. not.

Walker, as well as Mommy, is read to have his OWN space and OWN eating schedule and use the bathroom...the poor little guy has been holding it for 9 months, so I can imagine he's about to pop!!  Here is an ugly picture of me about to go work out....i am big obviously, because I'm wearing black to try and camoflauge my glamorous bod, but it still doesn't help....

I had my 2nd 'checkup' where the doctor checks to see if you're dialated on Tuesday afternoon.  Still none.  Walker is snug as a bug in a rug in there, which is fine with me.  If I had to choose, I would like him to come at the end of the first week of October.  But I figured I'd leave that one up to the Big Guy upstairs, i trust His schedule.

So since I have no other exciting news to report, I figured I'd post some pictures from recently that I took on my new camera that my amazing husband bought for me!!  Here is our adorable niece Julia at her 2nd bday party jumping on the little mini trampoline that Aunt Jenn and Uncle Chad gave her and Uncle Jake.

She has some mad jumpin skillz.

And here is a picture of my handsome Jeffrey, love you so much baby daddy!!  It's been amazing just the two of us, but how much fun are we gonna have just the three of us?!?!

I couldn't pick out one picture, he's just too cute!!  Mike and Katie are in the background of the first one at the Shinedown concert where Braden was passed out the ENTIRE TIME in Katie's lap....you can see his little feets and one arm and you can tell that his position does NOT look too comfortable...but apparently he was okay with it b/c that kid didn't budge...

Okay, enough showing off all my cute family and friends...I'll post again when something changes...I need to start packing my bag for the hospital.  Apparently I need to be sure and take my kitchen sink with me b/c I might need it while I'm there for 2 days (hopefully)

well the nursery is ALMOST done!!

6.5 weeks to go and we only need a few more decorations for a top shelf on the wall....not too bad I guess...

Here are a few pictures from his room!! We are very happy with how it's looking :)

This is looking in from the doorway.  I would like to call attention to the adorable monkey growth chart that Gramm made for Walker.  So we can measure him every year and mark how tall he is!!  Also, note the soft letter blocks on the shelf on the right.  Those are from Auntie Lo and Walker is going to learn how to spell his name from those!!

Here is his crib, pretty self-explanatory. The mobile from Bella and Big Daddy looks pretty dang cute on the side.
And here is his dresser with the changing pad that is full of all his blankies and burp rags and jammies!!  That thing is packed full!  You can also see the la-z-boy chair that we bought;I am so glad we decided on a la-z-boy b/c it's sooooo comfy and I am sure Jeff and I will both spend alot of time in that chair.

Today I had my 34 week appointment and last ultrasound to get measurements.  The nurse predicts he will be 8-8.5 pounds at birth, so I figure that's about right for a Dallas Cowboys lineman.  He is already head down in my tummy(not sure of the technical term for that), and I was so happy about that!!  Looks like he's getting prepared for his arrival in a few weeks!  We can't WAIT to meet our little man!!!  Looking at his sweet little face in the ultrasound today was amazing...how do we deserve this precious gift from God?!?!  Jeff called him God's divine design, ain't that the truth?!?!?  We are praising Jesus every day :)

After my next apptmt (36 weeks), I will start going every week and getting 'checked.'  At this point, I guess I could start dilating and holy cow that means this is all real and he really will be here pretty soon!! WOW. Unbelievable.

Oh, Jeffrey and I went to a newborn care class last week.  We were total geniuses because we had already watched the Happiest Baby on the Block video that they showed part of.  To display all of our skillz, we went ahead and showed the rest of the class that we ALREADY knew how to swaddle without the help of the video.  We're awesome.  Jeffrey changing the doll's diaper was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life.  Here are some photos:

Of course,we were the dorky overachievers that got to class first.
Daddy hard at work :)
Okay, that's all I've got....I'll post some pics of my chubby butt soon....not that you really want to see this...

32 WEEKS!!

Well, time is flying faster than my waistline expanded to stretchy pants...and that was pretty fast, my friends....only 8 weeks until Walker makes his fabulous debut!!  I imagine he'll prolly come out sporting some stylish sunglasses and chunkin a peace sign.  I have big dreams for this kid people.

I am getting bigger like nobody's business...here are a few pics of me and Daddy, where I have a loose shirt on but you can still tell that I'm hoarding a watermelon under there.

Ummm, now that it's been so long since I typed anything, I can't remember what I have told and not told.  Graham made Walker curtains for his room and they are so adorable I can't even put it into words.  They are perfect, she did a wonderful job.  Not that I expected anything less as she is an amazing seamstress.  So thankful for her!! :)

I have two baby showers this weekend, and I can't WAIT!!  I can't wait to see all the friends and family and  to eat yummy food and feel some relief when we get some of the stuff we are needing so that I don't feel so far behind.  Walker is so blessed and loved and he doesn't even know it!!

So here are the pics of the curtains even tho you can't even begin to tell how cute they are b/c of the sun shining in the window and blinding the camera.  But you get the jist.  And here is also a picture of the letters that Jeff and I made for Walker's wall.  They turned out so cute!!

On the curtains, you can't see very good, but Graham put little sailboats on the tiebacks.  SO CUTE.  I also didn't notice when I took the pic but the curtains aren't exactly even on the curtain rod, I should have straightened them before I took the pciture, but oh well, that's a TREK back up the stairs that I'm not willing to take.

I can't figure out spacing on this thing, so sorry.  I don't know how to insert a picture and then type right next to it.  I just get lucky sometimes and it lets me.  And I have to say, I don't find the help section too HELPful, but now I'm rambling.  I'm just kind of bitter b/c I have the ugliest blog layout of anybody I read.  I gotta work on this thing.

We have received a few presents in the mail and it has been so fun!!  We got a diaper caddy (sorry K.Dub) and some bibs and the precious little monkey blanket that matches Walker's room perfectly.  It's in the picture above, so fun!!!

So I can't think of anything else new that has happened lately.  I will post a few pics after the showers this weekend.  On a completely different note, if I have to hear Rachel on Big Brother laugh one more time, I might hurt somebody.

Oh!  Here's another pic that my mom made me take of myself where you can actually see how big my tummy is...and this is from last Friday, and I think I have grown since then....seriously....

and I'm out.........

An excerpt from the Daddy

Well this has been the longest thirty weeks of my life thus far and counting. To date I think I have freaked out over this more than Jen, and I don't have to do anything other than gain sympathy weight along with her.

We checked out the local schools in the area and Lone Star College has declined Walkers acceptance due to his abnormally high IQ, so at this point we are now considering either Primrose or Kids are Kids ( any info is appreciated).  *This blog update has been censored for all ages*

Third Trimester Begins!!

I know it has been so long since I have posted anything, but we've been pretty boring!  I had my 28 week appointment yesterday, at which we thought we were going to have the option to get the 4D ultrasound done.  When we got there, we found out we had to have a seperate appointment for that, so we scheduled that for today and had to go back.  Buutttt, the placenta was RIGHT in front of Walker's face, so we couldn't get really good pics, so we didn't buy the dvd.  We did get to see him though and she gave us some snapshots to take home!!  Here is a close-up of his face, I think he is handsome just like his Daddy :)
,
That chin couldn't possibly look any more like Jeff's.  So sweet...

So that's the only really good one we got!!

I got my RH- shot at my appointment yesterday, and nobody warned me that I would barely be able to lift a donut to my mouth today!!  And let me tell you, when it comes to donuts, there isn't much I won't sacrifice.  I was so tired at work that I almost passed out staring at my computer screen.  But I am home now so the roads are safe.

Oh, I took some pics of Walker's room even though it's STILL not even close to done.  The furniture is in there and the walls are painted, but there's nothing hanging and not much decorations on his shelves.  But here it is, we're making progress....I know it's kind of hard to see, we'll take better pictures when it's closer to being finished.  When the curtains are in there it will help also because all that sunlight won't mess up the pics.

My parents (Bella and ???)(Dad hasn't decided what he wants to be called yet) bought Walker a pack n play to sleep and play in.  It's currently sitting in our bedroom in front of the bed because when we got done putting it together we were too tired to move it anywhere.  So that's where it's been for 3 days.  But it's cute and we might as well get used to it because that's probably where it will be most of the time!  We haven't decided if we're going to put Walker in his crib immediately or if we're going to let him sleep in our room in his pack n play for a little while.  I would really like him to know right off the bat that his crib is his bed and that's where he sleeps, but I'd also like to not break my neck falling down the stairs in the middle of the night.  So we'll see....

Here is a pic of me with the pack n play...and below is a picture of how putting together the pack n play effected the puppies.  Seepy babies....
So that's about all that's been going on.  We are having three baby showers in August and I'm sooooooooooo excited for them!!  Two in Houston and one in Longview.  My amazing sister-in-laws are giving me one here and Jeff's aunts and a few other family friends are hosting another one.  In Longview, my wonderful aunt and mommies of some of my best friends growing up and some other really close family friends are giving me one.  I am so blessed and thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. :)  I love you all and thank Jesus for you!!  I can't wait!!

Sooo...I think Jeffrey might say a few words on here later, but he's said that about 498573 times since I got pregnant, so I'm not holding my breath.  Be back soon!!!

Back from Vacay!!

Well...back to the real world it is :(  Vacation to Destin was awesome!!  I did entirely too much shopping and ate wayyyyy too much good food.  I think Walker really enjoyed that part.  He was really partying it up, that kid didn't stop boogyin the whole time.

I DON'T have gestational diabetes, praise Jesus!!  Thank you for the prayers for me :)  They told me I could call back to the doctor's office on the Friday before we left to find out my results.  Well, they called me on Tuesday, the day after I had gone in for my appointment, so I thought oh no, it must be bad.  But I guess the results just came back really quick!  I am slightly anemic, so I'm taking EXPENSIVE iron vitamins to help with that.

Walker has taken up gymnastics as well as dancing it seems.  I do believe he is perfecting the somersault in there and, as usual, my bladder is taking the brunt of his flailing appendages.  Both Jeffrey and I have seen my tummy moving around from the little booger, so we were really excited.  At this point he is moving around so much that it looks like there's a little critter in there trying to escape!  I guess he might be!  He's gotta be bored in there and if he feels anything like me, this whole process is taking a lonnnnnnnnng time.

We got a chair for his room yesterday!  We were looking at gliders, but they were so expensive that we just decided to get a la-z-boy!  We got one that matches the chair in our living room so that after we're done having babies, we'll have 2 matching chairs.  It fits in his little room nicely and so now we're done with all the big stuff for the nursery!  Only thing left is hanging stuff on the walls and curtains, which Graham is sewing for us. Love you Graham! :)

Here are a few pics, I am now at 26 weeks and 3 days, almost to the 3rd trimester!!

Little Man

Walker Holmes Peltier!

So there it is. Our little man is Walker. But from the beating my bladder is getting from him all the time, I'd say he's more like a stomper than a walker. I know he already loves his name because every time he hears people talking about him, he backs that thang up Juvenile style.

We loved Walker when we first heard it, and it just grew on us the longer we thought about it.  Holmes is Jeffrey's middle name from his Mom's side of the family, and I just love it!  That was the only middle name I ever wanted.

I hope everyone likes his name, but if you don't, please keep your comments to yourself!! :) Speaking of comments, I have no idea what happened to all the comments everyone has left on previous posts!! I am so sad, I have no idea where they went or how to get them back!! If anyone has any ideas how to fix this, let me know please!

That's pretty much it for now. I did have my glucose test today, so I'm tossing up prayers that my bloodwork comes back good. I'm sure I'll have a post by the end of this week in which I'll either be happy as can be or cursing insulin. We'll see soon!  And now I will let Jeffrey type since he is sitting here bugging me to say something....

Excerpt from the Baby Daddy:
A blog update will be coming soon from my perspective so get pumped!

No Longer Nugget

Well, the little man will forever be thought of with happiness in my heart as my little Nugget, but we are no longer calling him that.  We have picked a name for him, but Jeffrey is having a hard time with the commitment so he wants to wait a little bit longer before we tell everyone just IN CASE we find an unbelievable name that we can't pass up, like Wilfred or Eugene or Dilbert.  Those are just a few of the wonderful suggestions that Jeff's cousins and brothers and my cousin Trey have offered.  We have talked about a few names to some people in the past but we have actually chosen a different name that we found just this past week and fell in love with.  I think Jeffrey will be over his commitment jitters in the next week, so I'll be sure and post ASAP.  I know our baby's name is a top priority in most of the lives of the people that actually read this rambling of mine. :)  Also, I know you're all laughing at the fact that Jeffrey is having commitment jitters when  I am 6 months pregs.  It's just a little late for commitment concerns, Daddy.

So since I live an absolutely dreadfully boring life and have nothing new to report, I have a few pics to post.  I am getting frustrated b/c EVERYONE keeps saying that I don't even look pregnant!!!!  I am a TALL WOMAN people, with a long torso, so little man still has alot of room in there; he's not having to expand my belly outwards to make room for his dance rehearsals yet.  Just look at my triple chin if you need further proof of my pregnancy.  So here are some pics at 24 weeks and 3 days.

So thank goodness my camo shirt does the trick and you can't see my HUMONGOUS belly button in the pic where I'm facing frontwards.  We used to make fun of one of my friends in high school that had a big belly button, but hers has NOTHIN on my cereal bowl.  If I could maneuver better, I could easily eat an ice cream sundae, with whip cream and strawberry syrup, out of my own dang belly button.  If I were to get an outie while I'm pregnant, I could be a danger to society.  With as big as that thing would be, I could seriously injure an innocent bystander it if I weren't careful.  So I'm going to keep hoping that doesn't happen.

Ok, that's all I got for now.  I'll post next week after my 25 week appointment where I have to do glucose testing, EEK!!

Mommy's Touch

Well, I know I am never going to be a famous painter, but I wanted to make something for Nugget's room just from me.  So I drew him this little picture for his wall.  I usually use charcoal, and for this one I used oil pastels, so I have to admit that I don't think it's as good as I have done in the past.  Oil pastels are hard to use!!!  Critiques and comments are welcome!  (for all you overly observant people, I know it is not centered on the wall...I just hung it on a random nail that was in the wall from the decor in that room previoiusly)

Nugget  has been breakdancin like crazy lately, so I take that as a sign that he loves his parrot.

Chubby Butt is chubbier

Call me crazy, but I think Nugget has at least quadrupled in size since we got back from the cruise less than 2 weeks ago.  Every time he goes to town practicing the cupid shuffle, I am feeling it now.  Not uncomfortable or anything, but he'll occasionally kick me in the bladder and I'll literally feel like I almost just peed my pants.  He needs to work on recognizing his surroundings and become a smoother dancer if he wants to do back-up for Lady Gaga or somebody else ridiculous one day.  Here are a few pics that Jeffrey snapped of me today.  So these are officially 21 weeks and 2 days pictures.  For some reason, i feel like my tummy looks bigger in the picture where I'm standing in front of the front door.  I have had a REALLY hard time remembering that I don't have to suck my stomach in all the time anymore, so maybe I was subconsciously sucking in a little in the other photo.  Who knows...

So I have to brag that I can still fit in one pair of my regular jeans.  I am very proud, even though they were kind of that stretchy jean fabric to begin with but that doesn't matter so i'm not letting it steal my thunder.

I got on the scale today and I have officially gained 10 pounds since my first doctor visit when I found out I was pregs.  I don't know if that is good or bad, but it is what it is.  I tell myself that each boob has gained at least 2 pounds of that weight, so that's 4 pounds total.  So that only leaves 6 pounds to be attributed to my legs and triple chin.

I told Nugget the other day that he is so lucky that his best friend, Lil Grape, is going to be living right next door!!  That is what I officially nicknamed Mike and Katie's little baby boy!!!  We are sooooooooo excited that Nugget and Grape are going to be so close in age and be living so close by! :)  Congrats Mike and Katie! xoxoxo

I don't believe I have yet announced the unhealthy obsession I have with my pregnancy pillow.  I am not sure what it is technically called, but here is a pic of the one I have.  Mine is the 'swank' shape.  Oh. My. Gosh.  You have not experienced the euphoria of amazing sleep until you have one of these pillows.  I am recommending them to everyone.  Jeffrey doesn't know it yet, but he will be getting one for Christmas this year.  I am talking mind-altering sleep.

Ok,I am off to watch Valentine's Day that we rented.  Until next time!!

20 weeks and big feets!!

I had my 20 week appointment Monday after we got back from our FABULOUS cruise!!  Here is a pic of me posing in front of the most UNbeautiful background on the shiip.

Nugget was counting sheep and REFUSED to budge even after I poked him from every angle I could reach.  He was also curled up in a tiny corner of my uterus sitting directly on my bladder, which helped explain why it was 2pm and I had already used the ladies' room 4893754 times that day.  Bella and Graham were with us, so they got to see Nugget for the first time, so that was really fun. :)

Also, my appointment was right after we had just gone to Target and bought the CUTEST pair of little newborn shoes with monkeys on them.  About 2 minutes into the ultrasound, the sonogram lady laughed when I told her we had bought some precious newborn shoes.  She said yeah you might want to go ahead and buy 1-3 month size.  So to all of our friends that have said they are going to contribute to training camps for Nugget so that he can play in the NFL, please start mailing your checks at your earliest convenience.  He was also attempting to devour one of his big ole feets the whole time, so he is a limber little fella with a healthy appetite.

I am now only sporting prego pants, and there is a high chance they might be my permanent wardrobe for the rest of my life.  If you think you have some comfortable lounging pants at home, you are just DREAMING until you purchase some maternity pants.  It's like there is no wasteband holding the fabric on my legs.  I also purchased a pair of what I thought were the ugliest jeans on the planet, until I tried them on and they became the most stylish jeans I have ever owned, even with the elastic fabric tucking up under my armpits :)  I highly recommend preggers pants to ANY woman....wait, make that any human.....men deserve to be comfortable too.  I won't judge.

Here is a picture of Nugget snoozing with his foot comfortably propped on his cheek.

You can see his ear on the side of his head, and to me his head looks large.  But the lady said all babies have about the same size head until a certain point, at which time I am sure Nugget's will balloon into a watermelon similar to his Mom and Dad.  As long as it's full of brains, that's fine with me!!

Here are a couple pics of his nursery, which is still empty, but it's painted!!  There are a couple things on the wall just b/c we had nails already there from the previous stuff in the room.  The wheel is going to be painted all black, so it won't have the blue on there.

Well, nothing much exciting going on except that Nugget is now 13 ounces, so ALMOST 1 pound!  My doc said that all his measurements looked great, so that was definitely a blessing.  Praise Jesus!!  At my next appointment, I have to do the glucose screening to find out if I have gestational diabetes and I beg that you all toss up some quick prayers that I don't.  My body might have a complete meltdown without the sugar that I have been craving for 5 months now.  Oh!!  I also asked my doc about sleeping on my back, which I am SO GLAD I did because I have been freaking every time I wake up on my back because of all the horror stories I have read.  She said, I quote, "Sleep however you are the most comfortable.  It does not matter if you are sleeping on your back, sleep on your stomach if you want, whatever is COMFORTABLE."  So I high-fived her and trotted out of there thrilled that I didn't have get out bed in the middle of the night and dance jigs anymore to see if I could get Nugget to move so that I would know for sure he was okay.

Until next time, Nugget will be practicing his dance moves and I will be frequenting the restrooms of every fine establishment I enter.

Chubby Butt OUT!
