Oh yeah, I have a blog!!

Obviously, we have been pretty busy since I last posted.  Little Bear is SO BIG now!  He goes in for his 6 month checkup in two weeks, so I'll know his exact dimensions then, but judging by my method of getting on the scale with and without him and seeing the difference in poundage, I'd say he weighs almost 21 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!  He's super tall already.  We knew he'd be a big boy, but I didn't expect him to be so tall from birth.  He might have to spread his athletic talent to basketball and not just solely focus on goin pro football.  We're fine with whatev.

I had a huge change in my life two weeks ago when Jeff and I decided, after alot of discussion and even more prayer, that I would stay home to take care of our little guy.  As of right now, I think it was the most wonderful decision of my life!! <3  I can't put into words the wonderful feeling I get when I go upstairs in the morning to get him out of his crib and he's all smiley and happy to see me.  And knowing I get to spend all day every day with him, watching him grow and learn, my heart could not be more full.  I am praising the Lord for every second of this amazing time in my life.  And I'm loving my husband more than he knows for being so supportive of the decision.

So hopefully I'll have time to blog more now, although these first two days that I've been home I've done more work than I did in the last three months at work, at least.  So we'll see how that whole having more time thing shakes out.  But I will try to force myself to sit down and blog b/c I know I'll look back in a few years and be so glad that I did.  I have already re-read all my pregnancy blogs and laughed at the whole experience.  So this is a short one because Walker and I are going to storytime at the library this morning with some girlfriends and their kiddos and I have to go wake him up!!  Here is a picture I'll leave you with. :)
