Walkerman has two top teeth!! And I am talkin TEETH....they have just started coming in but you can see the whole tooth pushed against his gums as it's trying to make it's way down....and they are BIG. I want them to come in but I don't want them to come in. I know he is going to look completely different and not so much like a baby anymore!! Makes Mommy sad....
So my baby now has 4 teeth and as if that isn't emotionally draining enough for me to deal with, I am fixing to start the process to stop breastfeeding in 8 days, when he is 8 months. *sigh* I know I have fed him for 8 months and he is so strong and healthy and he'll be fine when I stop, but I am so sad about it!! It's so wonderful knowing that I supply 100% of his nourishment on my own. (well, except for the few niblets of peaches or banana or whatever else I can sneak in his mouth when he's distracted by something else). It will be nice to have my body back to myself, I will be very happy about that!! I am just NOT looking forward to having to give him formula for a couple months. Hopefully the milk supply that I have built up in our freezers will last us for a while!
Bubs still isn't crawling, I am very surprised. He gets where he wants to go, that's for sure, but he just doesn't crawl to get there. He rolls all over and scooches and does push ups to lunge his body toward where he's going. He's a fast little booger too!! I can't turn my head for very long or he's gone!
We went to College Station last weekend for a wedding shower for our good friends Matt and Adrienne, and it was Bubba's first time in Aggieland! We showed him all around and bought him an aggie jersey and hat at the bookstore. We went to the Dixie Chicken and he was definitely checkin everything out! That place sure has changed since we moved away 5 years ago! It was a super fun day, lots of happy memories.
