10 Months Is Coming FAST!

Ten months old!  Our little munchkin is getting so big and learning so much every day!  He has finally figured out what to do when I say 'high five!'  Even if he doesn't do it when Daddy says it to him, he KNOWS when Mommy says it to slap her hand.  He also knows to look at you and open his mouth when you ask him for a kiss.  I feel like any day he's going to just start talking to me.

We have been practicing standing by ourself and he is getting pretty good!  His balance is getting better daily, that's for sure.  His hair is so long now that he really looks like a little boy, not so much a baby. *sniff sniff*  Here are some photos:

I'm asking for a ball pit for my birthday!!

Love my bubble baths!!

Daddy lets me steer :)
Not too long ago, we went to Jaclyn and Herman's son Isaac's 2nd birthday party at Pump It Up!  Walker had a blast crawling all over the blow ups and sliding down the big slide.

I have already started preparing for Walker's birthday party that is still 2 months away.  It's not going to be big, but I figured the earlier I get started, the less I'll have to worry about it.  It's going to be Lil Cowboy theme, and I think I am going to make strawberry cream cheese cupcakes.  Walker is going to have a smashcake, of course, even though he probably won't touch it since he's STILL not eating anything aside from milk and gerber baby food which is practically liquid.  We are trying so hard to get this kid eating more food, but I think he hasn't figured out different textures yet.  If it's not liquid, he doesn't want it.  We even tried to give him a TINY bit of icing off a cinnamon roll and he gagged and made a face like he was about to barf.  So I don't have high hopes for birthday cake or cupcakes or anything sugar related.  He'll figure it out someday I'm sure and then we'll wish he wasn't eating so much again.

We took him to Market Street with some of our church friends a few nights ago and let him play in the fountains for the first time.  I was questioning whether I was going to let him get in there, but I figured since he's always trying to chew on my shoes, there can't be any worse germs in the fountains.  He had so much fun crawling around in the water and sticking his hand in the fountains.  Here is a picture of the kiddos:

Not much else goin on...EXCEPT fantasy football starting up pretty soon and Jeffrey and I are BOTH pretty excited about that!  I'm gonna win this year, no doubt. :)
