She is here!! GOD IS SO GOOD. I do not deserve all that He has blessed me with but I am SO thankful. What an amazing event that women go through to bring little ones into this world. I won't say it was fun or that I didn't think I was literally going to die on that hospital bed (when my epidural didn't work), but I will say it's probably the most beautiful moment in this life. For sure it is in mine, at least.
Keatyn was 9 pounds 15 ounces and 21.5 inches long. Needless to say, I am glad Dr. Everson decided we needed to get her out when I went in last Monday, the 23rd, and had an ultrasound done. If she had let me go as long as she originally said she would, the 30th or 31st, I would have had an 11 pounder probably. Oh Lord, can you imagine?!?! I was induced around 7am on the 24th and Keatyn came into the world at 12:28. At about 10:30, I was measuring at a 3 and by 11:30, I was a 10. So obviously, when she decided it was time, it was time!! All of our family came to visit and see the little princess and we are so thankful for all their support. We are blessed. Big brother was a little hesitant at first, but now he just wants to kiss on her all the time. He doesn't quite understand that she doesn't know how to do high fives yet, so he keeps trying.
